This
is our new home! Incomplete of course, and the 3 geniuses who are
designing and building it. It has been built from the framework up,
starting in July 2010. The aluminium skin has been glued in place and
with a high density polystyrene as insulation.
Josh worked tirelessly one afternoon when Dad was utterly finished to finish the painting of the frame! He did a fantastic job.
Joshua (14) is busy here with the glue gun....took a little bit of getting used to!
Isaac (11) is cutting the aluminium sheeting with a nibbler.
This is our Mitsubishi 3 ton 4X4 truck which will take us up into Africa. We started by building the frame on the chassis and then took it off to start the panel work. Even that was amazing to watch! What you can do with 2 children, a gantry, a pulley and a 4 wheeler!
Here Isaac is helping with the welding of the frame...The boys have learned some excellent skills over the last 6 months!
